The Friends of GEF program is a simple way for parents, grandparents, alumni, local residents, and community supporters to become more involved with the Glendora Education Foundation.
 

Being a Friend of GEF isn’t about how much you give. It’s about participating, lending a hand, and being part of a community that believes in creating more opportunities for Glendora students.

What It Means to Be a Friend

Friends of GEF make one simple commitment:

Volunteer with GEF at least once during the school year, or donate services! That’s it.

Whether you help at an event, support a fundraising effort, assist with community outreach, or lend your skills behind the scenes, every act of participation helps strengthen GEF and our schools.

As a Friend of GEF, you’ll receive:

• An official Friends of GEF license plate frame so you can proudly show your support throughout the community.

• Recognition on the Friends of GEF website as part of our growing network of school supporters.

• ​Opportunities to volunteer at GEF events, programs, and initiatives throughout the year.

•  A meaningful way to help create more programs, technology, equipment, and opportunities for Glendora students.

Why Participation Matters

Strong schools are built through strong communities, and there are many ways to make a difference. Not everyone has the same amount of time or resources to give. That’s why Friends of GEF is designed to make getting involved easy and accessible. One event. One volunteer opportunity. One way to help. It all matters. Our goal is to build a visible, active network of Friends throughout Glendora who support our schools, help spread the word about GEF, and encourage others to participate.
